WHO IS DAVID KOLLAR
I wasn’t born into ecommerce or privilege.
I was born in Slovakia, raised by a single mother, and immigrated to Canada with nothing. English was my second language, and we lived in government housing — constantly moving, constantly rebuilding.
By my teens, I had already worked 20+ jobs — retail, security, sales, bussing tables, flipping products — never lasting long because I hated being told what to do. At 19, a concussion wiped out parts of my memory and sent me into anxiety and depression. That’s when I started studying mindset and entrepreneurship.
I taught myself design, built a web agency, and made my first $100K. From there, I shifted into fashion. I created my first collection, took it to a trade show in Las Vegas, and sold to 10 retailers. That was the start of Kollar Clothing — a brand that grew into an 8-figure business, sold in 300+ retailers, showcased at New York Fashion Week, and featured alongside Amiri, Fear of God, and Palm Angels.
But I didn’t stop there. I built new brands that reflected different parts of my story:

Each venture taught me something new about leadership, branding, and systems — and every lesson became part of what I now teach.
